Even though Apex Legends’ success has been overwhelming, Respawn has not wanted to put the cart before the horse and has taken its time to bring content and carry its title to other platforms.
For example, the Switch version, which was due to arrive this fall, has been postponed until the beginning of 2021 so that the proposed experience is worthy of the battle royale.
It seems that the mobile version, which was announced in October 2019, is coming more or less at the same time.
No specific information was given, but Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, said in the financial results of the second quarter that the title will come out between 1 st April 2021 and 31 March 2022.
The good news, therefore, especially since the development of this version, which often requires more work since the phones are less powerful than other machines, must have been impacted by the health crisis, like many projects recently.
The mobile platform continues to grow year after year and we are excited about our new list of titles for this platform, especially Apex Legends.
Apex Legends, therefore, reaffirms its place among the most popular and appreciated battle royale by making itself available on as many platforms as possible. As a reminder, only Fortnite is available on PC, consoles, and mobiles, PUBG is not yet playable on Nintendo Switch.
