J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard, has assured in a video that attendance at the next BlizzCon will be free.
Last May, Blizzard announced that it would not hold a BlizzCon in person as usual; In September the dates of the online event with which it will be replaced were specified: the BlizzConline will be held on February 19 and 20, 2021.
Until now, the company charged a virtual entrance ticket to be able to attend most presentations after the opening event, offering as an extra a series of cosmetic objects for its games.
However, J. Allen Brack has assured in a video that “we want it to be a great virtual celebration, so the viewing and participation in BlizzConline will be free.”
No further details have been released about the games that will be featured in the event, but we await more information on already announced games such as Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.
