Performance Mode in Fortnite is OP! *HUGE FPS BOOST*

Epic Games announced that a new alpha version of the new “Performance” mode will be added in Fortnite for PC on December 15. which will significantly increase the frame rate, as well as reduce memory consumption and load time on the processor and graphics card by simplifying the picture.

The new feature, included in the options menu, will be only in the “Battle Royale” and the creative mode. Owners of older computers after starting the game will see a recommendation to enable this mode.

In addition, fans will be able to skip the high resolution textures, which will free up about 14 GB on the drive storage – the final size of the game will be only 17 GB. Here are the instructions you need to follow:

  • Open the Epic Games launcher.
  • Select the “Library” item.
  • Click the three dots next to Fortnite.
  • Select “Options.”
  • Uncheck the box that allows you to use high quality textures.
