2K Games shared a new sample of the next generation NBA 2K21 gameplay, captured on PlayStation 5, to give you a new look at the impressive graphics quality and the speed of the loadings thanks to the SSD.
After teasers with samples of NBA 2K21 in the next generation, you now have more than 3 minutes with the PS5 version and in this match between the Warriors and the Pelicans, there are several highlights and not all are for the visuals.
The additional power of the upcoming consoles allows for an unprecedented immersion in the basketball game, something that is being important for the team to make each game even more intense, but the team also highlights the importance of improvements in the animations.
However, one of the most impressive moments appears in the first moments of the video.
At 9 seconds of the video, you can see the transition from the pre-match menu, in which you can decide the initial line-up or start playing and the transition to the arena is incredibly fast. In less than 3 seconds, you move from that menu to the perspective of the arena, to show you the referees and players to warm up.
Visual Concepts says that PS5 and Xbox Series will allow for much more than more beautiful graphics and this is a small sample of how the next generation experiences will become more dynamic.
