Since the launch of VALORANT  at the beginning of June 2020, Riot‘s FPS has won over many players around the world. 

Unfortunately, as is the case for a multitude of other games, VALORANT is the victim of several bugs , preventing full enjoyment of the experience or, in some cases, not being able to play it.

Some mistakes are easy to fix, but others are more difficult, especially if we don’t know what the reason is. 

Therefore , to simplify the correction, Riot has shared a list of VALORANT errors  with the solution in an attempt to correct it. 

Each error is associated with a code, which makes it easier for you to find the solution below.

VALORANT ERROR CODES & SOLUTIONS

  • Error code 4  → Your nickname is invalid. 
    • The problem is with your Riot ID.
  • Error code 5  → You are logged into this account elsewhere.
    • You need to log out of all your devices.
  • Error code 7  → Service failed to open the session.
    • Your account is potentially suspended. Check your emails or inquire with Riot support.
  • Error code 8 to 21  → Riot client issues.
    • A restart of the Riot client should suffice.
  • Error code 29  → This is a network problem.
    • Your firewall may be blocking the game.
  • Error code 31  → Unable to retrieve the player name.
    • A restart of the Riot client should suffice.
  • Error code 33  → The process of opening the Riot client has been interrupted.
    • A restart of the Riot client should suffice.
  • Error code 43  → A system has timed out.
    • A restart of the Riot client should suffice.
  • Error code 44  → Vanguard has not been initialized.

  • Error code 45  → Vanguard reset required.

    • You cannot access the game until the now is over.
